FYI for resolution stickler folks this is passive 3d so you get half resolution per eye in that mode. Probably next to no ghosting/crosstalk in 3d though, and cheaply, light glasses

So tempting. I'd like a 3DTV for the living room, but I'll have to hold off. I will say that I will be going passive, as the active sets bother my eyes/head. I've really had good luck with my Passive computer monitor and SWTOR in 3D is quite enjoyable

These models are the ones running Android I think.

I'm with you on that. I regret not hopping on the Samsung PN51D6500 deal for 799 and the heart break failure of the Toshiba 55L6200 deal that fell through for most of us.

Particularly I can't say about the quality control about Sharp Panels. I personally choose Samsung 1st then LG 2nd for LCD's. Then Panasonic makes the best plasma with great picture quality hands down.

This looks like BJ's re-badged Samsung 6000 series. I would personally recommend at least the 7000 but preferably the 8000 series with LED micro dimming (not to be confused by full-array LED local dimming).

I personally own a Samsung UN55C8000 and we all know samsung panels have a *POP* in their picture quality that looks razor sharp, they are known for that My family, friends and guests are SIMPLY amazed by the picture and thinness of the panel
