Not to mention I don't think the Duracell can do 1A charging, which is required for most tablets, including the Nook and Kindle Fire. |

Just a quick note for anyone trying to judge the capacity of this thing, this is rated at 5000mAh at 3.7V. If you're trying to charge something through USB, it is 5V output, meaning this has effectively rated at 3700mAh, assuming 100% efficiency (very unlikely). You can use this figure to compare to the batteries of your portable devices, factoring in conservatively 10-20% losses due to efficiency.

and then magically in the mail about yesterday I get a micro usb and a mini usb cable. Kudos for being on top of things idealpoint. for the most part id say its worth the $28 to have 2!!! usb ports. Not worth dickin around with only 1 usb port believe me, youll be grateful you have 2 ports vs 1. Funny as it is for $25 shipped from china I bought the clone its white and has ugly light blue leds but is the same as the trent. I believe in the 2 port model for charging the phone and the kodak $40 waterproof camera that was front-paged last week. like i said 2 ports come in handy when you're on the road.

I forgot to mention im not sure if you would wanna stuff this battery in your pocket for the following reasons, (button might get pressed and stay on and warm) (possible explosion idk but I heard it from someone that read it from somewhere that someone said, so I cant really say if this is true or not) Last edited by dj-3lusion; 05-03-2012 at 06:06 PM.. For a measure of how well this works, I bought two of these (one for myself, one as a gift) about a year ago - even now it will charge my Epic 4G (1500mah) about ~3 times over. It's the best battery pack I've ever used, even compared to some of the other external deals I've jumped on. I would suggest picking up the actual USB cable you need though, as this comes with ~10 (universal) plugs which are just adapters you stick on the cable they send.
