And "hot girls" in the US aren't nearly as hot as they think they are. You guys owe yourself a trip overseas before you settle down with an American woman. Not that there aren't some cool ones, they are just few and far in between. I'll warn you though, a trip overseas might just ruin settling down with any American girl.

I was hanging out with some people in Beijing. There were only two of us Americans. A woman and myself. The rest were European/Australian. The American woman was acting well... like you know. When she left to go to the restroom everyone stared right at me. I said "American women have attitude." An Australian guy says "You think?" Everyone laughts. He then follows up with "I always wanted to marry an American woman. Then I went to America."

Go to Holland. The "average" girl there would blow away most "hot" girls in the US. When you tell a truly hot girl there she is beautiful, you'll likely get one of 3 responses.

1) I'm not. I'm just average. They aren't being modest, they really think that.
2) It's genetics. What does that have to do with who I am?
3) Thanks with absolutely no attitude whatsoever.

There a plenty of hot woman all over the world with no b*chness to go with it. The two don't have to go hand in hand.

I knew a wide range of female international students when I was in college...Japanese, British, Romanian, Bulgarian, Chinese, Thai, Tajik, Brazilian, Mexican (not immigrants). They all acted really cool, but once I got to know them and saw how they interacted with men, I figured it out. In the US, a girl can just be bitchy and be fine. Abroad, if she acts bitchy, she's a pariah. She has to use an acceptable channel to express her innate bitchiness, usually through subversive means!

I'm not so sure I like the terms of the contract when it comes to settling down. Particularily if said contract dissolves.

I have seen women in other countries. I got to be stationed at a geographically separated unit for 2 years when I was in the AF in my 20s. Living in an apartment, rather than a dorm, and having to buy things I needed in local stores rather than on a base, meant seeing many of the people who actually lived there. Dealing with the language barrier was difficult, but there were some women there who could speak English.

I find it deliciously ironic that US can claim any sort of moral high ground when it comes to political dissidents.

Let's look at Bradley Manning, America's political dissident. He's still locked up in god knows where, being treated god knows how. They won't even allow amnesty international access.
