Barely got my hands on the Xbox 360 MD3 bundle I won!

Thanks to Slickdeals for all these amazing giveaways! I've got quite the story (long but worth it)...so after verifying that I won, I received a UPS tracking # and boy was I excited.

I was checking that tracking # just as often as I check slickdeals.net for $ saving deals...Well it finally arrived in my city and I knew it should be delivered the following day.
So the next day after getting home from school it still had not arrived. I checked the tracking # and it said it had been left at the front door 1 hour ago...I double checked my porch and still nothing. Now I started to panic! I finally win something on slickdeals and UPS loses my package!!!!! How can this be happening?

So I try to remain calm as I head out the door to see if possibly they placed it on the neighbor's porch...still nothing. I called UPS to see if they could somehow get ahold of the truck driver and ask him where he delivered the package...but all they told me was "if you can't find your package then you'll have to contact the sender and they will need to contact us to file a lost claim". No way, this can not be happening!!! I couldn't bear the thought of losing this Xbox when it was almost within my reach. So I decided to take matters into my own hands...I just felt that it must have been delivered to the wrong address in my neighborhood (we have recieved mail with the same house # but different streeet before). I began driving up/down the neighboring streets spying people's porches for any sign of a Xbox sized package. After 4-5 streets still no luck. I decided if I'm going to do this, I better go all out.

So I started knocking at the doors of those with our same house #. 1st house, no luck. 2nd house it didn't appear anyone was home but I knocked anyway. After 30 sec someone peaked through the blinds but still didn't come to the door. Finally after another minute they opened the door a crack and I tried to quickly explain the reason for my intrusion. (we have the same house #, I'm looking for a package that was delivered 1 hour ago, it should have my name on it...) The lady that answered was an old Indian lady that seemed to not speak English. Just what I needed. She said package a couple times as I was talking and then she looked behind her door down at the floor... Could it be? Is my Xbox literally inches away? I continued trying to communicate with this woman...yes UPS did they bring a package by? It would have my name on it... After what seemed like an eternity she bent down and picked up a brown box behind her door with my name and address on it and handed it to me!!! I couldn't believe my eyes!!!!! When I got home I busted that box open and all that stress from the past hour...immediately relieved. I think it's safe to say I earned this prize!

Excellent detective work! Now call UPS and have them explain street addresses to your driver.
