Looking for a slim fitting black coat. Mens coat
Looking for a slim fitting black coat something that will keep me warm. I wear Large but it Always seems to be to big for me. Any idea's? looking for plain and thin. Not bulky. Something classy would be nice  What do you wear? Depending on how nice it is but willing to spending up to 200 |

whatever you get, you can try taking it to a tailer (or your dry cleaner) and have alterations made to it, to take it in so that it's more slim fitting. these alterations can run $20+ or more, but makes a big difference in how the coat will fit (and look). not sure if you can do this with a real heavy coat, but i've done this to a trench-style coat.

hmm i do have an x-large coat that i like, that is way too big. I can check if they will alter it for me and how much.
Anyway if anyone finds anything. My favorite brands are Boss, Kenneth Cole, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Claiborne ( can't find them anywhere). Looking for plain non sporty coat, black slim fitting, large size. Last edited by JackScagnetti; 05-03-2012 at 12:21 PM.. |

Check at Macys.com & overstock.com - they both have a good selection

if you have time (and the patience), try stopping in at Marshall's/Tj maxx stores. it's always a hit or miss, but i picked up a nice TUMI wool coat for $50 earlier this year(Marshalls in watertown), and have seen some decent calvin klein wool coats for around the same price, but like i said, its always a YMMV.

I don't have a car or I would drive there. Stupid police always pull me over. So I am basically limited to the subway.

I didnt mean you have to goto the watertown one, rather, just check any marshalls/tjmaxx that you might be near. like downtown crossing...

I can never find anything there. I think it's cause there is no other stores around the good stuff goes quick.
