Heres my issue, I bought my shredder years ago and I don't have proof of purchase. I can't even remember if I paid cash or credit for it. And according to the site, "Bring your old shredder with proof of payment to any Staples store by 6/12/12 to receive a $50 credit to the debit/credit card originally used to purchase." Anyone know how this would work?

clovergirl, I think the proof of purchase is for the new shredder you've purchased and had shipped to you, not the old shredder you're turning in. This would be if you're buying the shredder on-line as opposed to in-store.

The one above is the $15.00.

Looks like they are going to take the $50 off when purchasing or issue credit once you've purchased it.
That is why there might be a return/repurchase

You will have to watch out for coupons used on the original purchase. I've been informed from Staples employees that once the coupon is used it can't be used again even if the mdse was returned. They said they knew that to be true on the phone apps. I told him that I had returned items before after using a coupon and the coupon was valid again but then again that was a year or two ago. Not sure if the 25 off 75 coupons can be used again if mdse is returned. Please let us know your experiences.
If it's going to be a return/repurchase deal then it's better to order from store and pay or if you have to order on line use coupons at store.

I can confirm that they CAN NOT be used again, they show up on the return receipt as "non-refundable" and can not be scanned again. I went through this on a recent price match where they took back the item to sell at the lower price.

so when you do the trade in for $50, it works like a return/rebuy at $50 less? which means the $25 off $75 won't work then bc it's not reusable. app coupon is okay though from what i've seen. so best deal here is 100- 25 (app) - 50 (trade in) - 15 (rebate)= 10. not bad i guess...was hoping for a mm though.

Has anyone tried stacking the coupons with any success?
