They're already being sold at close to market value prices. If the reseller doesn't have a special going then you're out of luck. You can sometimes find a previous owner trying to divulge themselves of a configured system. I wouldn't hold your breath though.

As far as your preconfigured system, you definitely should pay the extra $95 for the anti-glare upgrade (15.6" "Matte Type" w/ 95% NTSC) and $70 for the 3rd generation quad-core upgrade (i7-3610QM). I'd probably also go with the 750 GB 7200 RPM HDD over the 60 GB SSD.

Sager is already a small boutique seller; you aren't going to find deals like you would with lower-end laptops built in bulk and shipped to places like Best Buy and Office Max. If anything, the only way to get lower is to get a Clevo:

If you can find a similar build from another maker, would you consider that? For example, an Alienware from the Dell outlet with coupon, etc.

That should have the quad core update I must have cut and paste before I selected.

I won't be needing a large HD as a have a desktop and dropbox.

I am honestly clueless about the screen, is it just a glare reduction thing?

I would totally consider that by given the options I've selected SSD Ivy Brdige I7, etc. I haven't been able to find anything close in price range.
