I miss living in my home town of SF but I don't miss CA strict gun control laws. I live in Portland now and it's nice to live in a state were they let honest law abiding citizens arm themselves. I know CA technically allows concealed carry but it might as well be illegal. /end rant

Or you could just have it read "Sales restricted - free men (and women) only." Pretty much the same thing.

As for the deal, I'll pass - first, it's Bud's. Second, the LC9 was going for this price not too long ago (and can still be had for not that much more, I believe). Third, .380 swallows.

For those of you with a Gander Mountain nearby, it was the same price there last week and is often on sale there at $299.

I owned this gun and HATED it. First, it was not fun to shoot. And by that, I mean it hurt and was difficult to hold. It is REALLY small and has significant recoil. I added the extension piece onto the bottom of the mag that helped with the grip a lot. I wish I could remember what it was called, it is a must have for this gun. The other thing is when it chambered a HP round, the front end of the round ended up smashed. It still shot on target, and it didn't jamb, but it just made me nervous. I don't want to worry about my gun during an encounter.

This gun is exellent for what it was designed for, but mine at least, had a couple flaws I couldn't live with.

I disagree, 380 is a great caliber for concealed carry. A 380 in your hand is better than a 45 in your truck.

Agreed. People need to realize the purpose of this gun. It's not a range gun that you're going to bring down to put holes in paper.

It's for concealed carry. Larger calibers than the .380 require larger frames. It's going to be uncomfortable to shoot, but it's not made for comfort. You should definitely bring it to the range so your accustomed to it, but this isn't made for an afternoon of shooting.

If you think this gun has too much recoil you need to go and pick up a daisy bb gun

Terrible, horrible, no good long trigger pull. Yes, it's small and it looks cool but I'd recommend you get your hands on this before you buy. You'll probably change your mind on getting it.

I don't own one but I've put enough rounds through one to know it's a major issue.

I own the Bodyguard and have a friend who bought the LCP with Crimson Trace. We each decided to have a test to see which we liked better. The LCP was 100 bucks more (with the laser) and from each of us shooting each other's gun, we both agreed mine shot a lot better (in fact, his slide bit him and took a few weeks to heal).

Reps to the OP for a good gun deal, but for anyone hovering between the LCP and the Bodyguard, the S&W has a noticeably more solid construction and at least in our two opinions, shoots better.
