Initial reports was that the JT Ready killing was a murder suicide committed by JT Ready. However, there are some reports that this might have been a targeted hit orchestrated by drug cartels. Press conference tomorrow May 4th.

I tend to think this was a cartel hit because of the murder of the 16 month old toddler. Because IMHO even a neo-Nazi like "JT" would hesitate at shooting a toddler. But we already know that the drug cartels have no such hesitation.

JT Ready and his type would like us to think that because it would make him seem like a hero, but don't buy the conspiracy theory. Ready was just a crazy racist Nazi gun nut who had been kicked out of the US Marine Corps. He was about as heroic as Charles Manson.

Recalled Arizona senate president Russell Pearce, the author of the SB1070 anti-immigration law, was a close associate of Ready's, but ever since the murder-suicide he's been trying to distance himself of Ready and claiming he barely knew the guy, never mind that Ready spent time at Pearce's mountain cabin, and they not only belonged to the same Mormon temple but Pearce sponsored Ready to become an elder of the church.

Sorry Larry but I have to correct you regarding the Mo' stuff. (1) Mormons don't "belong" to temples. You must have a temple recommend to enter the temple in order to perform "sacred church ordinances", and "temple work". Any "temple worthy" Mo' can go to any temple they wish.

(2) A man isn't sponsored to be an elder in LDS faith. Its the de facto title given to men once the reach 18 and and "receive" the Melchizedek Priesthood. Basically twice a year Mormons have a "stake meeting" in which they present all of the 18 year old men and ask the quorum of elders for "consent" to add the 18 year olds to the quorum. This is done with a quick raising of your hand. So unless you're some drug riddled gay sex fiend you're in man.

Those are basically points that aren't really important, except to Mormons, Scientologists, or whoever.

The point is that Russell Pearce can't deny knowing JT Ready, who was like a son to him (really -- Pearce's biological sons are criminals, too).

Regardless of what happened here, large numbers of Mexicans do not belong in America, and admitting tens of millions of them in the name of non-discrimination since 1965 was one of the gravest mistakes America has ever made.
