I saw a horse while driving down the highway that had only three legs. Does that imply that all horses have three legs? Or maybe that only horses along this highway have three legs? Or that horses in this county have only three legs? Obviously not. The preponderance of evidence for horses and the study cannot be negated by a single observance. This is why we use science, not religion, to inform reality.

This research is congruent with many other peer-reviewed studies. It makes perfect sense. Unless perhaps, you are religious. It is always enjoyable to read how the pseudo intellectuals pick apart valid research. I'm really unlikely to be swayed by an angry christian that cherry picks facts and irrelevant data to discredit a Cal-Berkely published piece of research. Get a PhD, college degree, or even a GED before you attempt to discredit valid information because you don't agree with it (and yes, the earth is round).

The fact is that the bible wasn't available to the public, and it was used as a tool to control the people by the government. Surely you can see the difference between these times and the dark ages if you actually cared to read about the dark ages.
