Epiphany about "trolling" enforcement

While the rules don't say it, we actually have a heckler's veto on this forum. Let me explain. Trolling is posting things you don't believe with the intent on getting outraged responses. However, many liberals will respond in an outraged fashion to legitimately held and good faith conservative beliefs. When conservatives like myself get our posts deleted and get warned for "trolling," simply for stating conservative positions that we believe, the moderators are in essence granting a heckler's veto to liberals, who can act "outraged" and get the original post deleted as trolling, even if it was not posted with the intent on disrupting the forum.

Since conservatives don't fly of the handle at liberal beliefs, conservatives don't get a similar "heckler's veto."

Thoughts?

I see the mods as pretty even handed. They don't seem to be prone to the heckler's veto.

I'm sure the liberals who engage in the same type of discourse (resorting to name calling and finger pointing) also have posts deleted and are warned.

It's one thing to be conservative and post what you believe, it's another thing if those beliefs are blatantly offensive and racist.

I don't believe claims of "racism" have any credibility anymore. But in any event, then the rules really prohibit views that are offensive to many even if they are accurate and held in good faith. It's not about the rules preventing nonsense posts that just serve to rile people up. The rules, as enforced prevent posts that are offensive to people. If that's what they want the rules to say, they should specifically say so. Not pretend that their rules are neutral.

You can't possibly be serious. Most of the partisan conservatives here have been much more extreme than the moderates and liberals. Just look at almost all the criticism of economist Paul Krugman.
