These cameras are terrible. When using with Skype, I could never obtain any decent resolution. My ISP is 25 down and 1.5M up. Perhaps, it is not the camera but Skype. They say Skype is 1080P, but nowhere near that.
I returned the 2 cameas that I purchased. Total waster. |

I also have the 920 model, and the pictre quality is CRAP.
Any suggestions for configuration on the 1080P model?

The refurbished camera's you guys are buying, are the ones that PCToolshed returned because he was too incompetent to figure out how they worked -- but yet kept buying more of them. Meanwhile i'll be returning my BMW back to the dealer, because I can't drive 150 on the freeway tonight...

You caught me, as I just cannot drive 55 MPH.
However, even buying these cameras at 50% reduction, (thru the accomadation program) I returned them as they were a lackluster. Matt, If you experienced different results, please do share as with ONLY a 1.5M upload I was unsuccessful at achieving ANY HD, let alone a decent picture quality. The Tool

2. Have you looked at what your local video looks like? is the quality good? if this quality is bad theres something wrong with your PC. I have this camera on a laptop at work, and by means its not the best camera on the planet, but its way better than the built in ones on both a macbook pro and a year old sandy bridge quad core lenovo. 3. Test the camera from somewhere with a highspeed network (with a wired connection, not wifi) 4. see how much better it looks. 5. test a better VC client than skype: https://www.ciscojabbervideo.com/...5806A8AF3B or even download the latest version of skype (5.9) for windows |
