This is the top-of-the-line Asics running shoe, but just last year's model. In fact, this was actually the "latest" model just 4mos ago and retails for $140+.

I just got mine in the mail yesterday and got 3% cashback as well from urlhasbeenblocked, final net for me was $76.63.

Here are the sizes/colors avail:

Black, sizes 9 & 11.5 (medium width only, d):

White/Navy, sizes 9, 9.5, & 11 (wide width only, 2e):

Snow/Lime, size 11.5 (medium width only, d):

Women's available too in a few sizes:

(found out too late, can't figure out how to edit the title)

This was the ONLY place where I could find my size, 11/2e. Most other places that still have this shoe in stock have only sizes like 7, 8, or 9 and 13, 14 (sizes that are not that common).

I got my shoes within 4 days of ordering and can confirm that this is a legit company. I actually found this company through Sears.com, it popped up as a partner website and also the fact that they do cashback from urlhasbeenblocked gives them a bit more credibility as well.

Yikes, I was just about to create an account and place an order but decided to check reseller ratings.

Holabird Sports: 2.5/10 with 27 lifetime reviews...link [resellerratings.com]

OP - not trying to be rude and I'm assuming your intentions are good, but I'd suggest others think twice before giving them your information.

Yeah, I don't know what's up with that review of Holabird, I've been ordering from them for years and they're awesome. I even had an order for a pair of shoes that was taken from my front door before I got home to pick up the package, and they overnighted me another pair completely free of charge. They're a great retailer.

I ordered kahana 5 last week from kohls in store kiosk as they did not have my size. It was on sale and used 20% coupon so i paid $51. Also getting $10 kohls cash on top of that. Great shoes, highly rated on consumer reports for a similar model. Retail $74.99

Good price, but if they got the Asics Nimbus 13 it would be great. I used the Nimbus 12 and the Kayano 16. Needless to say I prefer the Nimbus over the Kayano because they are a lot more comfortable as compared to the Kayano.

I'm a casual runner, run/brisk walk at least 2 miles per day 5-6 days a week in addition to resistance training.

Kayano is a more supportive shoe whereas the Nimbus is a neutral shoe, I believe.

The asics website describes their product line as Nimbus being a supportive shoe for most folks other than severe pronators with flat foot. Though if you are flat footed, look at their maximum support line.

On the other hand, Kayano is structured cushioning better suited for most folks other than high arc under pronators.

I saw them somewhere for $83...can't remember where. I was looking because someone recommended them over New Balance 993s, which, IMO, are great shoes.

The Kayanos are supposedly very well padded.

Holabirdsports is a great company. I've been ordering from them for over 15 years.

It looks as if Asics made some big changes to the Kayano between 17 and 18. The 17 weights 12.6 oz (about 360g) while the 18 weighs 11.6 oz (about 332g). That extra weight makes quite a bit of difference over a long run. I wore Kayanos for a long time, but now wear Nimbus with a custom orthotic. Both are top-of-the-line shoes.

Nice to see that people like this deal, this is my first post.

Yes, I was a little afraid of holabird also, had never heard of 'em. But, like I said, if they were listed as a retailer on sears.com...which I understand sometimes just acts like a shopping search engine...it made me feel a little better.

The packaging is not great, it's just the shoe box itself wrapped in a black plastic with a shipping label on it, but I did get the product and it's nice.

I've tried the Nimbus as well, actually bought the Nimbus 12 a few months ago but returned them. The Nimbus series in general is a little narrower than Kayano's even in the wide size vs Kayano wide. It's reported on runnersworld as well.

On the Kayano 18 vs 17, there are probably a few good changes and the new 18's being 1oz lighter is pretty nice. However, it's almost 2x more expensive. I was going to settle for a much cheaper Asics for about $40 or so, glad I could "upgrade" to this one.
