I like their products but they took a long time to ship one of my orders (about a week), didn't include the mystery egg with the discount in another order, and I had a few misgivings about something they put on their site which is now removed.

The owner was listing all of the customers by name that he felt tried to defraud him by saying they didnt receive something or refused to pay. While thats innovative, eventually someone on that list would see what he said, get an ambulance chaser to send him a demand to pay ~$20k for slander or go to court. When he sees that it'll cost $20k to go to court and he might have to pay the $20k anyhow, he'll just settle. And probably be out of business.

Only a problem if you order and he charges your card and doesn't ship. Not a big deal. I have about 800 of their baits and lures in my tackle cabinet. Their little crawfish are really exceptional. Its just that the erratic shipping, inconsistency of filling the order and not being that smart about basic legal matters can raise some concerns.

Skylar, you probably got caught up in the issue we had with yahoo loosing order numbers, which is fixed now. Glad you like the products. As for the fraud section of the page that is currently hidden, it was verified by our lawyer and ok to post. These were all cases sided in our favor, not just people we feel defrauded us. We sell to almost a thousand dealers on top of thousands of private individuals and if they're selling stuff, we want them to watch out for these people.


Also got an email about the Johnson spins. Your order number will start with a Y and have a long number and at the end have a - and then a 4 digit number. When that last number is -xxx9, you get the free spin. Just wanted to clear that up.

I had the same issue with the Easter sale but they made it right. Can't really blame them for third party errors, especially when they personally contacted me and made it right. Can't beat the service in my opinion, you just don't see that anymore.
A far as their products, pretty good as well. I get the same stuff I was buying in the stores for a fraction of what I was paying. Other reviews from fellow slickdealers have been positive as well.
All in all, I've been happy with them and their specials.

This is what I was talking about earlier. Personal service. For a medium/large company to respond that quickly to customer feedback is pretty rare these days.
