This is a good deal if you want one, typical mistaken responses responses above.
1 Sandisk C4 > 2nd tier brand C10. Look at real world transfer speed, not class. 2 Sold by Amazon (almost surely real) >> sold by 3rd party (likely counterfeit) The G.Skil one at Newegg seems probably better if you truly need highest speed. But significantly more money. |

I paid $30 for this in December. This is a great deal! I use one in my Epic 4G Touch and the other in my Nook Color. Class 4 is fine. The only time I would bother thinking about class 10 is if I were wanting it for a digital camera or camcorder, and even then, I'm sure I'd be happy with this card.
I'm seriously considering betting this for my son's Nook Color. My only hesitation -- slick deals are killing my retirement savings little by little!

thank you some one has some knowledge. You don't need a class 10 in a phone/tablet only a DSLR |

Here's another example of why you would want a card for fast sequential writing (transferring large files) or in an OS environment (android phones): SanDisk C4 - Sequential Write : 5.459 MB/s Patriot C10 - Sequential Write : 10.275 MB/s Winner - Patriot C10, by almost double ===== SanDisk C4 - Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 1.695 MB/s [ 413.8 IOPS] Patriot C10 - Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 0.007 MB/s [ 1.6 IOPS] Winner - SanDisk C4, by 25,800% edit: and actually, do you want to see who the REAL winner is?

Slickdeals really has a thing about rounding off dollar values in the FP thread title. I don't mind... I've come to expect it. I guess it's a way to cut three characters off. Then I see this thread title, and it says $20.50. They decided to round to the nearest 50 cents. Which begs the question... if you're going to include the decimal places, why not just report the actual price? End rant.
Lies, damned lies, and contrast ratios.
