$50 off ALL iPhones for ALL carriers at Target for new accounts and upgrades

Quick question that I should know the answer to already. You can use your Target Red card to purchase these contract phones, correct?

what a coincidence, I'm indian too... there's exceptions in all cases and I'm sure there are indians willing to cut each others throats to get an iPhone and then there is the majority of the country which are slowly coming to realize what disposable income is... Sure there are tech. fanatics like everywhere else that'd pay a premium for devices but then again most indians won't shell out ridiculous amounts for a mobile phone just yet, because Indians are generally conscious about getting Value for $$ (which is also why you can even negotiate on pricing at most retail places) -- and unless they've been heavily influenced by ads or the idea that having an iPhone is a status symbol indians won't be going fanatic about the iPhone because a plethora of cheaper alternatives exist that offer similar functionality... besides last I checked 3G was just getting the big push by local telecom providers, so they've got a little while to go before 4G networks are in place and people can truly benefit from the 'power' of these smartphones....

and $2K for a phone that cost Apple roughly $200 [redmondpie.com] ... isn't it obvious how good Apple marketing & the artificially maintained premium pricing is at fooling the masses? That's what I'm getting at.

Any tips how to get price match at Bestbuy?

Just picked up 2 iphone 4s from BestBuy. They did a price match after calling and confirming the sale price and if its in stock.

I called Target this morning to confirm they had the deal. Went to BB to buy 2 phones with my mom with Verizon service.

They did not want to match it and I had to ask several times. The salesperson said he called Target and they refused to tell him. I had to ask him again before he would call and verify the price...Long story short.

They matched the $50 off and I got $100 off 2 phones. I prefer buying these from BB over Target anyway but would have walked out if necessary.

So, stand firm if you want to buy from BB.

Oh, and I love my iphone already, but then I knew I would.

I'd prefer Sony Xperia or Samsung Galaxy S III. iPhone is out of date.

Why would you want to waste your time trying to price match when you can get it with no hassle at target with redcard discount at another 5% off?

I like Best Buy, got the rewards. I've bought a few phones there and they are usually pretty nice to deal with. I like that they set everything up for me and install the plastic shield I overpaid for. It's very easy getting a phone at BB. I don't know if Target has the same service but it's worth the 1% price difference (4% rewards at BB) to hand someone my old Blackberry, have them port the number and spend a good amount of time on the phone doing this, and importing all my contacts. I am lazy as well as persistent

The other phone company was a little difficult to work with so I was happy to have the BB guy take care of all the dirty work.

Target is the same way. Most Target kiosks aren't that busy so they'll have the time to spend with you to put on your screen protector, and they use the celebrite to transfer all your contacts. They do everything at the kiosk for you, it's awesome service
