I try to mix my dogs diet up a lot because I think most single diet choices are based more on theory than fact. I also cook for my dog in major batches and freeze it. |

We've had good luck with our lab Roscoe eating Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach, which is fish based and not outrageously priced. Kept taking him to the vet for "loose" poop until someone recommended this stuff - fixed the problem and less to pick up. Good for his coat too.

I have fed Wellness for 2 years to my dogs and cats, they have very high standards and one of my dogs is a diabetic so the best non raw food for him is the Wellness Core Reduced Fat....actually that is why we changed to Wellness, the diabetic pet sites all say to feed Wellness Core Reduced Fat. He has done well on it and both my non and diabetic dogs love it.

This happens every few years with diamond. Good thing I avoid them. Just noticed candidae was bought by diamond. Glad I switched to innova last year. Damn, I liked candidae and only switchwd due to conveniece. Sticking with Innova.
