A good deal would be $399 or less for the upper BCG and charging handle, plus a rear sight. That would be great.

Now....just to find an in-stock dirt cheap deal for a complete BCG, charging handle and carry handle/rear sight! Where should I look.......

Assuming you're talking about a rifle (or lower receiver) and not just an upper, that's a straw purchase. I'd guess 10 years and $250,000 fine.

Hey guys, I'm looking at the poly complete lower, and an upper to add. PSA seems to get good reviews. Can anyone suggest one of their complete uppers? I looked at the links, do either of the sale uppers have the pencil barrel? I was hoping for something light and handy, to maximize the lowers weight advantage. Usage is plinking, urban if it comes to it. I will get a heavier barrel target upper later if I catch black rifle disease. What's the deal with forward assist and shell deflector?

I had purchased this one for $329. It's out of stock right now though.

I picked up the upper and a charging handle from PSA, but I'm stuck deciding on the lower.
I'm in the Peoples Republic of California, so a $50 shipped lower is $50 + $60 FFL transfer + $25 DROS = $135 out the door. Not slick.

Anyone have a good shop to buy from in the state, or know an FFL who will transfer it to me for less than $60?

I was looking at centerfires m series saiga, but they dropped the free shipping before I could get online to pull the trigger. Plus, I would want to do so much work to it I would hit $600 anyway. So, instead I grabbed the PSA 16" FN lighter barrel upper for $350. I figured the FN name, machine gun steel, and thicker chrome lining was worth the $50 more.

Now I just need a deal on a bolt carrier group and a bcm gunfighter charging handle. I know the New Frontier Armory trigger is going to leave a lot to be desired, bit it will hold me over until the next PSA $50 lower sale. Then I can make the NFA lower into a lightweight .22 build for my son.

Still want a saiga with wood furniture though...
