Yea, I was being sarcastic. It has come up as early as the 14th and as late as the 30th.

If possible, could you please recall which phone number you called? I would like to know if it is OfficeMax customer service number or Maxperks number? Thanks.

Now I am seriously thinking about purchasing the McKlein leather briefcase and a case of paper. Total would be about $195 less $30 cpn = $165 oop, but get back $143 (briefcase) + $30 (paper) = $173 in rewards. I wouldn't hesitate about doing this if it were Staples . . . but I just can never turn the OM rewards back into cash. Hmmmm! Any ideas?

The lack of good cash out options -- heck I would settle for a decent option every now and then -- remains the bugaboo of the MaxPerks rewards program.

Isn't it $44.99 for a case of paper? I try to did several combinations to use that coupon...

Yes. $148.00 (leather case) + $44.99 (paper) = $192.99 + tax .
Then apply the $30/$175 coupon, so you would end up paying about $170ish.
Then you would get back $177 back as rewards ($143 leather case, $30 for paper).

My previous post was only off by the tax amount . . . I think you may have speed read my post, perhaps thinking the $30 I mentioned was the price of the paper, when, in fact it was the rewards amount.

I have 4 gift cards (physical ones that I've got after returning stuff that I bought using my rewards). Now going in store to buy something big that will consume all these gift cards and then returning it immediately to get one big GC to buy that bag. Geez, you got me working on this OM deals, BPVH.

The bags are not 100% back in rewards offers. They are fixed value rewards offers as is the case paper deal. Using coupons generally does not reduce the rewards payout of fixed value rewards.
