Looks like a great deal, just sucks that the battery life is so bad. Stated battery life of 4.5 hrs...but the lone reviewer on Tigerdirect said 1 hr at best. Anyone have this laptop and can provide their battery experience?

no usb3 & terrible resolution of 720p. great CPU i7-2670QM but without a dedicated card (integrated only). not much to love about it. you're probably better off just getting one of the cheap/light sub $400 laptops for web surfing. or one of the dell scratch& dent although i wouldn't touch dell and their wonderful customer service in india...

i've seen deals and specs way better half year ago. Considering the release of ivybridge, why is 2nd gen going up?

needs an ssd
I think this really needs an ssd to shine or at the very least a hybrid. Boot times are so awful without one. The price does seem reasonable however. On a side note where did all the high res laptops go, I have a hp elitebook which I got from tiger on a slick deal somewhere around 2009 and it is 1900 x 1200 matte finish, I really would like some new hotness but I don't want to drop down to a low res screen in comparison. |
