On the other hand, they just dump all the phones, so chances are they would accept a complete corded phone. The store managers really do not care. |

sorry
I was thinking more base and phone and additional handset...that is how I read the ad...base unit and phone and additional handset It is easier to ask for foregiveness than permission
and flavour of the day......greedy bastards "We can't continue to have a system where Wall Street executives privatize the gains and then socialize the losses. Accountability needs to be a two-way street," update let's toast the executives at AIG for doing such a great job by granting them bonuses.......absolute crap and again no accountability..... |

I lucked out ... . I raced and was there at 8.58pm. Bought with 25/75 (donated by one of the SDers). Manager assured me that he can do trade next day.
I went there today. Another manager has no problem to do, when I showed last week's flyer. I asked him to do exchange than return/buy for the rebate to be valid. He said that could be the issue. Nice surprise - He did price adjust with complete rebate amount deducted. Think, that's why we all here love Staples.Final price $15 |

I do have cablevision (optimum voice service) and trying to setup the voice message with service provider by switching off the built-in phone VM. I have setup VM access number etc. But then if I get a new VM, the phone head light is not blinking, no VM sign on phone display. Not even a new VM dial tone comes up when I pick the phone. Anyone successful with this setup? Please share and appreciate your reply. |

I sent my husband to do our trade-in on Friday, as soon as our phones came in. I was so nervous we were going to have problems. The employees didn't have much of a clue but they called Customer Service up and I guess they told them what to do. We are supposed to be getting our $20 credit back to our card. I hope so because they didn't give us any paperwork to show that a credit is coming our way.

Last year they have advertised as recycle program here [staples.com] which explicitly says that "Recycled phone may be corded or cordless." This year here [staples.com] it says...trade in and the terms look similar without that corded or cordless info at the end. Anyone? Thanks in advance Last edited by dsedi; 05-14-2012 at 08:42 AM.. |

this is only work with online order.
Today I talk to a nice manger, he said, if my order is online order he can call help desk to give me a refund for trade in. If in store order, what he only can do just with the register, must be return/rebuy at register with losing rebate. So probably I will return this order and waiting for another deal.
