I don't think you can combine the visa $10 promotion with any other cashback site, as they are all click-thru, so one of those will cancel the $10.

reps...that might be true but if you get 5% cashback either way it works out to be $10 if both come through then $20

Not really sure. I think those laptops might use a 1.8" drive. This is a 2.5" but 7mm thickness and work for slim laptop but full size drives @ 2.5". I would not pick this up as a gamble but instead use it for regular laptops, desktop builds and substitute for when tax is charged in your state via Amazon, newegg or buy.com

I tried something like that with AMEX and it never materialized. I called several times and no help. The $10 is very iffy. I rather have a code or MIR than something that is suppose to appear on your shipping statement since there really is no proof other than the promo page.

Well, yuu (love your posts BTW), take your two laptops apart to expose / remove the HDD, and see what they look like. I just replaced the HDD with an SSD in an AW m15x, all I needed to do was take the adaptor off the sata HDD and put it on the sata SSD.
