Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !
So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Today's Recipe
Fried Zucchini Flowers
also squash, pumpkin flowers
Vegetable oil, for frying
2 large egg yolks
1 cup all-purpose flour
zucchini flowers with stems
salt and pepper
In a deep mixing bowl, lightly beat the egg yolks . Add the flour and continue to mix until the batter is the consistency of heavy cream. Dip 2 zucchini flowers at a time in the batter to coat completely, letting the excess drip off. Fry the flowers in the hot oil for 2 minutes until crisp and golden brown. Drain the fried flowers on a platter lined with paper towels, season with salt and pepper while they are still hot.
This old Sicilian recipe is delicious
Have you tried calling them? The number is on the website. I havent even bothered to redeem mine yet

POOP !
Sprok's here
Just got home from a long day of riding....decided to be sweet and accompany hubby on service call to McAllen, TX. That's about as far down to the end of Texas you can get. Long boring drive....but was hoping after the call we could skip on over to south padre, which I've never been to, and stay the night....darned if he didn't fix the problem within 15 minutes!!! Blew that plan, hard to explain an overnite stay with that time. On the way back had to go through customs! Kind of intimidating, mind you we were still in the US!!!! Had a drug dog, german shepherd, and this hispanic agent asks us if we are US citizens, I wanted to ask :"are you?". I think I have authority issues. Thankfully we were clean
Anyway got home to find a big starbucks package: 3 bags of coffee, $15 GC, French press and nice long coffee scoop. Score!!! I must have won the starbucks contest, dunno, it didn't say.
