For reference, I fit the box in the back of a 99 Chrysler Town & Country van, all seats were out (except the front 2, obviously) and I was able to close the back. And yes, it most certainly is 342 lbs. I couldn't be happier with my shed. This is an awesome deal. |

I went to a HD near my house in NJ last night. They had it listed for $549 and only had 1 left that they couldn't even find. So that was dissapointing on 2 fronts. They told me another store a few miles away had 10 left. So I rushed and drove before they were closing. There they all were! The price was $499 as said. It showed originally it was $649. It's weird how the 2 stores had different prices only being a few miles apart. They didn't take the harbor freight 20% coupon but did take the lowes 10%. So it was $480 w/tax, which I think is a great deal.
I know some have said they got crazy deals on sheds at the end of the season on clearance or what not, but we never seem to get those same deals here at those prices. Most sheds usually all disappear when they get near this price or a bit below. Plus, I get the most out of using it all summer long. Thanks, and repped. |

I have a general question about putting this up. I know everyone says the surface must be level, but I'm planning to put this in my backyard that might be a bit sloped. I was thinking of just building a platform with some 2x4's and throwing some plywood on top. Then leveling it with some bricks or something if needed. Then building the shed on top of that. Does that seem like a good idea?

Doesn't the shed already come with a floor? You just need some flat surface to mount it on right?
I'm planning on tamping down gravel till level, then just putting the shed down on top of the gravel. I live in the desert, no possibility of standing water or humidity. |
