If you still have the warranty to get yours fixed I would try that route first. However, if you have the money this would be a great upgrade.

I got this deal when they had it for the Wii. Just be careful it seems like whoever they are using to refurbish stuff is just reboxing. I got 3 broken units. each one with different problems and each one with different degrees of disgusting dirty directions and console. including one with gum on it.
