Looks like kind of a backdoor shipping charge . The overall price still looks really decent to me. I paid ~$200 more to buy and have them installed last time (not at Sears, but elsewhere).

Are you saying the handling fee doesn't appear in the cart but does at checkout? It did for me. Did you get a good deal or didn't you?

I seriously thought that i had an EXCELLENT DEAL AT $200.01 VERSUS $224.01.
Why would something appear slick......and end up DECEPTIVE.
I placed the order thinking the total amount listed as shown on the page and what they are asking is $200.01. but ended up paying $224.01.

Not only that it also shows on my receipt that each tire is listed at $ 68.95/per tire, however, when the order is generated it shows $45.74.

Slick deal or not, i felt like if they had told me the total price was $224.01, i would have hesitated buying it, knowing that it was nearly $200.01 i was jumping at buying it, only to find out WTF was that. where did $224.01. come from. ( i know i know its the shipping and handling fee, but for a moment i thought i was able to somehow/someway get away from that shipping/handling fee, and i was ecstatic...DARN ..IT.)

UMM...I would be not so quick to buy Cooper Tires right now. They locked out
their tire builders at their Ohio factory from Nov 2011-March 2012 during a labor dispute.
Treated them like total crap and had scabs from all over the country brought in to
build tires. Scabs who knew nothing about how to build a tire; scrap rubber everywhere.
I will never again buy another Cooper Tire after how they treated their loyal employees;
let alone buy a tire that a SCAB built!! VERY UNSAFE!!
