Mouse Pad/Wrist Support for Gaming?
Anyone has recommendations of good mouse pads for gaming, that can alleviate the bone/skin soreness that comes from too much FPS mouse gaming?Basically the bone area on the palm of the hand near the wrist, on the pinky side, gets really sore! Forgot to add - using a Microsoft Intellimouse, its nice and big and works just fine enough for my needs. Last edited by neteng101; 05-07-2012 at 12:59 PM.. |

You must really be pressing your wrist into the desk.
Maybe something like this? http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Vespu...968&sr= The really serious gamers don't usually play with Microsoft mouses either. Razer or Logitech G Series are 2 popular ones. Vague questions receive vague answers . . . . . .

I recently bought these two items for my keyboadr and mouse.
Keyboard rest http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...hs_product mousepad wrist rest http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...hs_product I had kind of bad wrist/forearm pain a while back (which turned out to just be from my workouts) but I was freaked out about CTS, so I bought these. They are very comfortable and my wrists have been happy ever since I've used them. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Check out my Youtube [youtube.com] ~~~~~~~~~~~

Ended up with something I could get, not a lot of choices in B&M stores...
http://www.amazon.com/Memory-Foam...B0002H1K The Intellimouse Explorer mouse isn't bad, ok its no Razer, but its definitely a gaming mouse... http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-B...B000GOUE7O I'd like the Razer Vespula pad, but between low availability online (Amazon is like 2-4 weeks) and the size, which I don't have enough room for on the keyboard/mouse pullout of my desk. |

Is your chair really high compared to your desk? Try getting a lower chair maybe? |
|
The height of the desk relevant to the height of the chair is the biggest factor. Too high or too low, is tough on the wrist. In this case, the OP must be too low as he looks for a wrist rest. If he can go a bit higher, it'll make all the difference in the world. |
