Acronis TIH is an amazing program, I was going to upgrade to 2012 (I have been using 2010 since it came out) and after reading the reviews I was unfortunately completely turned off by the new upgrade. They did a complete rehaul of the UI, and apparently people are reporting several bugs with it. Failure cloning disks, crashing issues reading older .TIB files, etc.
At $20 (well after the rebate) it's a good buy (depending on how tedious that rebate is, I personally hate rebates), I'd say. But I'd recommend reading the reviews on various places such as Amazon & Newegg and let that be the deciding factor for you. I'll stick with 2010 for a little longer. |

Would have been better if it was Acronis Disk Director 11, but nevertheless a good buy.

its shows $24.99 and after rebate it comes to $9.99 and not $5.

For those of you who are too cheap to pay, ToDo backup is free for personal user. I have use it to restore hdd image and no problem. I don't use it's snag features so I cannot common how good it is.
