att commitment free phone??
Hey SD'ers...i wanted to know what ppl thought about this and what I should do/not do...
I bought a SIM only back in Aug 2011 (it's a no commitment thing so I didn't sign a contract)
I wanted to use my "upgrade" to get a HTC one X via amazon when it was $50 however the acct showed that att renewed me for a year out of no where.
I called and complained so they agreed to price match and put in the order for me.
I placed the order thru att for a $50 HTC one X.
the CS rep told me that I must agree to the 2 year contact terms and conditions email before the phone would ship and I had 30 days to do so before the order would be cancelled.
The order now has a shipped status with tracking info sent to USPS and I never got my contract email.
thoughts on what others would/wouldn't do in this case?
