Dell Home U3011 Monitor $1049 + FS Must Call: YMMV

Can you guys enlighten me about the monitors you purchased. I have a friend who wants one of these dell 30"s but if I could point him in the direction of a a high quality off brand he may be interested in that too. I remember the dell small biz thread about getting this dell for 980ish and someone mentioned "cateye" or something along those lines. They were supposed to be a korean brand with "B" panels or something. Anyhow can you guys give a link to the site you are ordering from.

I finally got the $1049 price, but I had no luck calling these random sales people. The two that I tried wouldn't go below $1165. First guy on chat said he could do it but needed to call me to process the order. Another guy called and dragged around on the phone for like 45 minutes, and finally came back with an unsatisfactory price.

I found out that by calling the dedicated corporate sales line, I (actually DH) gets 25% off because he works at Microsoft. I even got someone in the US who understands and speaks English well, a real email address & direct line to the sales guy. I had no idea we were entitled to this perk until another MS employee told me. So anyway, if you happen to work for a medium to large corporation, it won't hurt to see if they have a corporate account. They had no problem selling to me directly, no haggling involved. At first I was worried it would have to be business related with a purchase order.
