Like I said, even if it is 3GB's, I still have well over 100 apps installed. I think it said I still had about 3GB's of usable space. I can check later, but it is still plenty for me either way. I have 3 screens full of apps.

So if I plug this into the TV via HDMI then wireless keyboard via dongle or BT I then have web browser on the TV via this? for viewing streaming some stuff? Does the browser seem complete at viewing most internet content, having the right plugins and all? in some aspects it could work like a htpc for web content?

Amazing device for the money, excellent for reading books, play movies and internet browsing, but definitely not suitable for work, as user data are typically kept in some hidden place.
Included capacitive stylus is far inferior to pressure sensitive screen type, commonly on touchpad devices on Windows OS.
Play movies coded in H264 with no problem, but I can't play MKV file; as MKV video files are typically larger than 4gb, unless someone can help me how I can bypass this limitation.

Sure. 3GB might be enough for a general guy like you. When you install lots of games, 3GB is too small. This is not android related problem. I don't know why toshiba decided to limit the app space to 3GB.

use an app called "BS Player" in the app store

i stream all my movies from my NAS and it played even 9gb mkv fine

How many games are you playing at once? If I want to game, I have a gaming PC for that, or a PS3, Wii, or 360. Playing casual games on a tablet isn't really "gaming". I have over 30 games installed, but in reality only play about 10 with any sort of consistency.

I have always had better experiences buying from them on eBay vs their website, same goes for dailysteals. Website customer service doesn't exist, but eBay CS does.

if this is so impressive as you guys mentioned above, i will get one for sure. i got a motorola zoom and an asus transformer already, but i want to try out this thrive.

Got my thrive yesterday (5/15). Hope all of you get your thrive this quick - I know some people had pessimistic delivery estimates.

As far as condition goes - There are a couple small scuffs on the back, but the screen and all the ports look great. It came in a box that looks convincingly factory refurbished.

On the packaging box it says its been refurbished by Toshiba.
