I bought one (c60,2GB DDR, 320gb) from Target for a little over $200 back in Nov last year. I have not seen it anywhere close to that price ever since. My teenaged son is using it and he is quite happy with it but he also uses a desk top for bigger jobs. I would like to have one for traveling but I am not sure if I want to pay $250 plus tax. I have a couple of Staples rewards totaling $100 so I may go to the store and get one. Is this code, 425960 online only or can I do a kiosk order at the store with the code?

I got this for $200 last sept at target and returned it. Netflix was slightly sluggish, flash enriched websites were a little laggy and overall it ran quite hot. At the speed of advancement for technology, I definitely would not pay $50 more for this nine months after it sold for $200!

Got 4 of these way cheaper from target a while back and none of the users have anything but good things to say about them. But I did explain what a netbook was before hand, which some of you have issues with. No ultrabook in this form factor gets significantly better battery life, there is just not enough space to cram batteries in 11.6". However, $250+tax is not even close to a slick deal.

I am in for one, thanks OP!
Also, I've found some helpful links in an older thread for this same netbook and figured I'd share: http://slickdeals.net/f/4159382-A...it49083784 Lots of good info there, and supposedly one of the settings to enable better performance on streaming HD really helps out. Also has links for Win 7 drivers if you want to reinstall everything minus the bloat that is bundled on it originally. |
