Disney Movie Rewards - 425 Points for $10 Hollywood Movie Money! - SlickDeal effect = OOS now.

I was hoping these might come around again, so I can use it for The Avengers, as it is a Disney release, but I'm thinking about just getting the Avengers cartoon DVDs (since my son likes watching them and will probably get a lot of viewings) and getting the free tickets from them. But there are plenty of Disney movies coming out. I'm only somewhat surprised you were able to use it for The Hunger Games as the way they work, it will easily work for any movie, but it's YMMV if the box office person will accept it. I guess if you cut off the "Disney" part, then they will probably never know, and I doubt the studio will ever know either, as there is no way they could know what ticket was purchased.

BTW, there is a limit of 4, so not unlimited, but more than the limit 1 they had before.

Can anyone tell me if the Hollywood Movie Money can be used at any theater?

Do you get the newsletter? It was emailed yesterday with a unique code for either 8 or 10 points.

Or have you done This survey for 25 points? It doesn't show in the surveys on the site...you need the link to access it.

The description says "The Hollywood Movie Money certificate is valid for $10.00 toward one admission to see any Disney movie" so I guess you cant see anything else. I think I'll pass then, but this is a great deal for parents.

Do you have a code? I got an email from them yesterday but it wasn't a newsletter and no code.

Let me see if I understand this...

- You can order 4 per DMR account, but you have to do 1 at a time.
- Each time you get an activation code and a link.
- Once you activate the code on that link you have 6 months to use the ticket for any Disney movie at any theater used by Hollywood Movie Money (which is all in my area).
- You don't have to select which movie, which theater, or which time (unlike Fandango) when activating your code.
- Supposedly it may work for non-Disney movies.
- If you don't activate the code, you have until the end of 2012 to activate it, and then you would have another 6 months (end of June 2013) to use it.

Is that all correct?

For some reason, the codes in this months newsletter are unique one time use only. I never get the emails but my husband did. Email is titled 'Your Members Update: Get Bonus Points In This Email, Read Inside'.
