Phosphate is bad. I'm most of the way thru an 85 pak from Costco and I like the non phosphate ones. They are the complete version and I can't remember how much I paid...

The ones from costco aren't complete, they are the original with the finishing liquid and thats it. So white/blue, which is fine because they work really well. Like you said phosphate is horrible for the environment and doesn't do anything besides give it a stupid 'sud' effect which people who are ignorant feel has to be there or it couldn't possibly be getting cleaned. This of course applies more to washing machines as dishwashers are out of sight.

You can't really give a blanket statement that it's bad to all of us. Some of us either don't feel it's very bad or frankly don't care much. We want it cause it works.

is this better price than cotsco or is it a diffrerent product than costco? I get something similar from costco but not sure if its all in one or not.

Purchased this (exactly same) for $10.5 at target last week.

It isn't called the 'all in one' although I cant imagine the little bit of orange liquid really making that much of a difference in the end result. The price is probably better at costco but if you aren't a member might as well get this. The costco pack comes with 90 and I think is around 11-12 bucks? It's the normal action pacs though.

Your dishes come out sanitized and clean either way, especially with the finishing products associated with the regular and 'all in one' action pacs so the effect on the environment absolutely trumps anything you may feel they do for you. That and the fact you said people either dont 'feel' its very bad or 'dont care' tends to go hand in hand with ignorance.
