Deal Details

AAFES has a promotion for Mother's Day for 25% off all Dell and Alienware through their Dell Premiere site.

This appears to be better on the systems that rarely go on sale.

Needless to say, this is military only. Go us!

How can you tell which ones are on sale?

Just ordered Inspiron 620 MT - i5/ 8GB/ 500GB/ BluRay w/no monitor for the kiddos last week. Wonder if they will adjust the price? Comes out $30 cheaper.
When you log in through AAFES it shows the retail and adjusted prices next to each other.

I have no idea if they'll price adjust, but there is a pretty clear disclaimer on the link which says that it is an AAFES promo and not a dell promo.
Not what I meant...It says get UP TO 25% off. Some don't appear to be marked any differently than they were last week. As a matter of fact, I just went back and rechecked the exact Inspiron 620 MT I ordered and there was NO price difference from 4/30.

Noticed they pulled the XPS 8300 they had shown last week.

Do any of the desktops have the price reduced?

Do any of these come with full HD (1080p)? Thinking of asking around to see if friends know of any military folks who could help me get in on this.

Depends on what you mean by "these". M17x can be configured with 1080p, M14x goes max to 900p (it's 14.1")
Oh, just checked the Alienware website and realized they don't have a 15.6" laptop, only 14.1" and 17". I'll probably still ask around - I'm guessing that even if I add a Blue-Ray player, the price savings should be substantial.

Can the lights on the m14x be turned off? I have a 5 hour break between class and lab next semester and this can help kill some time.
