CVS 5/20 - 5/26 Deals

Don't know what to tell you then except don't do the deal if you don't like the rewards.

Since CVS stopped the Cash Card deals, my EB went from about $60 on each card to $160, which is just WAY too much to try to roll every week:

Holy Smokes $160.00 How do you handle that amount of ecbs? You must be practically living at CVS.

I already spoke to my CVS manager saying I wish they would give the option for a CVS card and he said this time it's just the gas cards. On the last Cash card deal I got Amex cards through out the entire promotion. I LOVED those! And want them to come back. I would settle for CVS gift cards instead though. (Even though most times I'm walking out of CVS just owing them pennies. )

It's stressful! I've managed to keep a rollin' (well, better than rolling, I guess, as I seem to be accumulating more and more), but I seriously don't want any more EB's. We are so well stocked on everything and there is nothing more I need or want at CVS. Oh, except some gas cards, of course!

Yeah, the CVS GC's (and cash cards, too) are good to have for Rx co-pays (if you have any) and alcohol (if you drink and/or throw a party), since those are things you can't pay for with EB's.

I'm new to the gas card deal. Does it track or do you have to purchase everything at the same time?

For gas card, stay free and carefree is bogo and stay free had a $1 q in 5/6 paper. Carefree had .50 q. There are also peelie rebates on some stay free packages I found at Cvs. $5 rebate wyb 2 stay free or carefree (not the small carefree packages.)

Also for pop chips I found $1/2 circular peelies at wags.

I guess I'm the only one who is bummed about it being a gas card ONLY deal. I drive a Prius and most of the places I have to go are within a couple blocks of my home so I don't use much gas. I get gas about once a month.

I wish they would let you get a CVS card instead of the gas card. It would better for them because I would have to turn around and use it in their store. So they would make even more $$ off me.

When CVS did the cash cards I got the Amex cards but I would be willing to get some CVS cards if they would give that option. Maybe I can find someone locally who would swap me CVS gift cards for gas cards. I will have to try to figure something out. I don't need a stack of gas cards.

The $10 Gas Card CRT that prints at the bottom of your receipt is actually a $10ECB. You could use it on a future purchase or on a GC. It isn't attached to only work for the gas cards. Ask your manager if you can get a CVS GC, or a $10 AMEX GC. It should scan beeplessly.

If you have a CVS GC, you can even add $10 to it instead of getting another CVS GC. Have them scan the barcode on the bottom of your GC [like getting a new GC], they'll enter $10 as the amount to reload, then scan your ECB. Boom, just added $10 to your GC.
