i think they only come in 8GB, with microsd slot up to 32GB

I think it's a good deal. Regular price is $250, but this tablet has been out for less than a month, so getting $30 off isn't bad. Specs wise, this thing is far superior to the Kindle fire which is $200 new, but has been had for $140 refurbed. This is the best 7" tab on the market, but I think people are waiting for the rumored Google/Asus nexus tablet that will likely debut at $200 with very similar specs in July. The key thing that will make the nexus tablet superior is the quick and efficient updates that it will get direct from Google.

i bought this for $235 when it first came out from the PC Richards deal, i really like it, beats a kindle fire or nook color/tablet

You can't beat the kindle fire in terms of USER INTERFACE!

Considering either this or a used HTC Flyer for about $180.

The advantages I see for the Samsung are: (1) dual core, (2) ICS, and (3) expected developer support.

However, from what I've read thus far, there is ICS development being done on the Flyer and the battery life on the Flyer is supposed to be great. Not sure how the Samsung compares in this regard.

I am looking for a 7" tab primarily for travel (videos, ebooks, email, citrix access, skype), so battery life is important to me. However, since this is primarily a travel tablet and not a daily user, I don't mind buying a used tablet if the price is right.

In your opinions, would you buy this Samsung for $220+tax (so about $240 in California), or a used HTC Flyer for about $180-190?
