When I put the transaction date as my order date (May 11), I bumped into the same issue as you. Then I changed the transaction date to be the date printed out on the invoice, it went through.

The date on my invoice is May 18. Not sure whether I am still qualified for this offer. We will see.

Hmmm...I have product #87991 on my invoice. When I try to submit my $100 rebate its telling me it cant find my invoice # in the system and to submit it thru the mail.

I submitted the Kumho rebate online and it went thru with no problem at all.

Hi, I just ordered Drag DR-34 and they called me twice to ask about the Wheel installation kit, is that a special tool that I have to buy or I could get it in any auto part store near me for cheap?
Thanks
If I'm not mistaken...most aftermarket rims are made with the center holes way too big for most cars. Then they make aluminum or plastic spacers to fill in the gap. These can sometimes do more harm than good. If they slip off center during installation it will cause a horrible shimmy/shake. I have a set of torq thrust wheels that I bought new and have never used a kit. It takes a little more time to get the wheels mounted pefrectly. Maybe 2 minutes per wheel. Do you think a tire shop will take the time? The kit is for their convenience...they should pay for it. Lol.

Nice. I ordered something similar 225/45 + 255/40. Care to share what car it's for?
1999 BMW M3 convertible Estoril blue

want to buy it? the exterior is so mint, brand new roof, front and rear windows. it's my summer car, but I never get time to drive it. The wheels were bald so i couldn't possibly convince someone to buy a car w/ bald tires.

car runs great

Mail in only, follow the directions on the form linked below.
After you mail it in you can check a site (mentioned on the form) to make sure it's received / approved / in process.

They want orig. invoice/receipt, make sure you keep copies of all you sent.

I have not had any problems w/previous Hankook rebates.

Thanks.
When they say "original receipt" does that mean the email confirmation or the paper on each tire?

The original invoice that comes with the tire shipment is what I used and would recommend others use.

The emailed copy of the invoice says ** REPRINT ** on it so why give them an excuse to deny you? If you have full adobe to edit pdf's (I use nitro pro to edit pdf) then I suppose you could edit out the reprint on it but it's still not going to look like the orig. w/the printed in red Discount Tire logo on it.

Certainly wouldn't use the order confirmation email.

If by "paper on each tire" you mean the manufacturer sticker label w/the tire model, size and specs then no, this is not what they want you to send.

Oh - and you're welcome Smilie

I'm not sure I got an invoice.
I had the tires delivered to my MIL's house (I wasn't there for the delivery) and the only thing I saw was a piece of paper on each tire with my shipping information.
Would this be the invoice?

No
The invoice should have been attached to one of the tires in a stick on shipping invoice carrier - one of those clear envelopes that the invoice slips into. It should look just like the copy they emailed to you as an attachment (except the emailed one has the ** REPRINT ** at the top). If you didn't get an invoice I'd give them a call tomorrow and ask them to send (snailmail) you an orig. Just tell them you didn't get one and need it for the Hankook rebate submission. Their customer service seems pretty good from most reports but I think they got a lot of response from this sale (SD effect?) and they were a bit overwhelmed and some of the details fell between the cracks.

I had walmart mount and spin/balance the new tires. I verified all the work and saw the new sticky weights he used to balance. He only rang me up for mounting and let me know he forgot to write it up as part of the order but told me he completed the work and I verified it. That came out to $20 for mounting and balancing 4 brand new tires. I also had 1 month and 2k miles left on my 6 month alignment plan and had the car aligned for free due to a right pull and that was verified by RIGHT TOE being out of spec. Now everything is in the green and worked out really nicely.

+$540.25 (4 kumho 4x ku22 215/55-17)
-$100 discount rebate already approved
-$50 Kumho Rebate already approved
-$24.96 Mr rebates cash back pending 60 days
-$3.99 Mr rebates referral cashback pending 60 days
-$5.40 1% credit card cashback
+$20 For mount and Balance.

Total price after rebates, alignment, mount and balance = $375.9 = $93.97 per tire and discount rep offered certificates at half price around $7.50 each.
