I doubt I'd be able to do so, but I'd give it my best shot. I'd also find a way to call somebody. I don't have a ham radio license for nothing!

During DW's last c-section, they delivered the wee man and put him in the tray-thing-y. I was asked if i wanted to go see him so I did, and then I turned around to see DW's organs all hanging out and completely visible. I just stood there for a minute checking off organs in my head as I saw them. Then I went back to her side and talked her through the rest of it. It was an interesting experience.

I'm not sure I could do it, but I guess I could give it a shot.
Lucky for me, my mom won't be having anymore kids!

I would have no idea what I was doing...I'd jack it up somehow...
And what would I be doing with my mom that I would be the only one within miles? Where the hell did my Dad run off to?
I couldn't handle that.

Assuming the "In" version really is a possibility, and that I have been unable to call anyone for help, how exactly am I to know that this is a breech and not just the little bastard taking its own sweet time to arrive into the world?
For what it's worth it was worth all the while

What's the point of assuming any of that? No one would realistically ever be in this asinine scenario anyway. 1. If a woman is THAT pregnant, no one with an ounce of sanity would take her anywhere that she'd be away from where she'd be able to get help because everyone would be waiting for her to go into labor. 2. Given her age, it would be a high risk pregnancy, and if she did really make it to week 41, I'd be willing to bet they would induce within week 41 or have an appointment to do so soon after, or put her on bed rest or at least admit her to the hospital to keep an eye on her. 3. I highly doubt a woman that far along in her pregnancy would want to go anywhere where she'd end up in the middle of nowhere with one of her children without the possibility of any help should she begin labor. |

2. It's a hypothetical situation to find out if you could do the necessary thing. 3. It's a hypothetical situation to find out if you could do the necessary thing. Did you even vote in the pole?!?
