Some other differences..
55LM8600 has a matte finish screen, 55LM6700 is glossy. 55LM8600 has a dual core cpu 55LM8600 has Plus Upscaler, 55LM6700 has Basic Upscaler 55LM8600 has 9,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 55LM6700 is glossy has 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio

8600 has Dual Core CPU, Voice Commands from remote, and from what I can tell in reviews, 8600 is matte, 7600 is glossy.

what aret he plus and minuses of glossy screens? i just got the 7600 from amazon and was wondering if the 8600 is way better screenwise?
How do you even return a tv on amazon, kinna to big to drop at ups? |

In the case there is even the slightest light inside the room, matte is way better cuz that reflection gets really crazy on them glossy screens. Oh, and glossy also looks better when turned off i think haha its a semi mirror as well. do you eat poop?
