Damngoodjerky.com beef jerky - 35% off sale

I got about 10 of the large bags on black friday for 50% off it was mostly good and it is all gone now if that sez anything. if left open for a day or two it starts to get very hard/dry. Would reccomend though as at their prices it's much better than buying in stores.

The death by jerky flavor is completely inedible. It's spicy but in a bad way, I wouldn't recommend it.

I get headaches from MSG and therefore don't buy products with MSG in them.

This stuff looks like crap after eating Held's jerky.

I did get a reply from Katherine Strope, Executive V.P. at damngoodjerky: "No we do not use "pink slime" in the jerky"

Best jerky you will ever have, jandjmeats.com as featured on "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" on the Food Network, sometimes they run a buy two pounds get one free, right now they have a buy one get on free on Double Smoked Dry Kielbasa, I have not tried that but their jerky's are amazing.

You don't need to worry about the "pink slime" thing, this jerky is cut up chunks of meat.

Its an amino acid squeezed from seaweed that makes things taste better with absolutely zero scientific backing that its a problem. In fact, in some of the studies they invited people who claimed to be seriously allergic to MSG, fed them a dish without any MSG in it, and they had the same 'reaction' to it.

Looking at the reactions that are claimed, they appear to be the symptoms of dehydration. Hmm, you're a little dehydrated and go into a chinese restaurant, have some booze and a place of salty food and you get dizzy and light headed. Must be the MSG...

Why can't jerky makers hire a professional photographer to take pictures of their jerky, you know, instead of taking pictures yourself that looks like you produced your jerky in a meth lab.

Got mine today. The regular is *very* salty and a bit dry, but good. The teriyaki isnt as salty and isnt super sweet, which I like. The death by jerky is hot. Really hot. I can handle a lot of very spicy food, and just had a small piece and wanted a drink right away. Hotter than it probably needs to be, but I suppose thats why its death by jerky...

I see there is a sticker on the bottom of each container with a number ending in '13', which I hope means its good until 2013, but I'm not sure what the other numbers are. Week? Day and month in european style?!?

I do like that they include a nutritional analysis. I've bought quite a bit of 'premium jerky' that listed nothing online or on the package, and I thought they HAD to do that now.
