I took it as the poster was stating that he purchased a number of products from the seller and they were not fake. If so then it IS totally relevant to this conversation and on topic. It goes to merchant reputation. Yes some merchants have been duped but some are also known for selling complete garbage. Thanks for trying to be the SD police though!

As far as Class 2 vs 4. From the model # you can't tell as "SDSDQM-016G" can be 2 or 4, as the class is specified by digits at the end, which are not shown. Looked it up on the Sandisk site. Whether or not it's worth it depends on your use. If you truly need a quality class 4 then you're taking a small risk. If you have an old camera or printer or other device that only supports slow transfers anyway then it's a great deal.

Wow, I didn't know there were that many fakes. I had mine (Sandisk class 4, 16GB, microSD) for about 6 months now from newegg. I don't really like it too much because the slow write speed at right around 4MB/s. Back then I paid about $30 for two.
Great price if this is not a fake, but 16GB is kind of small if you want to carry movies around.

From ama reviews it may be a class 2, not going to risk it

Bummer if its class 2 it will be 2 slow 4 video.
