I thought the description was pretty clear.... it never says it can burn BD-Rs anywhere.

NOTE: This also burns & reads DVD-RAM discs, which is pretty cool.

Well, you also have to consider that the title reads "TS-LB23L SATA 12.7mm Blu-Ray Blu Ray DVD Bruner R RW for Alienware Dell Asus" ..... what is a "Bruner"?

Nope. Blu-ray Rom only. DVD burner. That would have been a screaming deal were it able to write to BR. Still good deal on it's own though.
