When laptop connects disconnects internet?!
My husband has a Lenovo laptop (windows 7, using internet explorer, norton antivirus) and EVERY single time it tries to connect to our internet wifi, it disconnects all computers and internet in the house. We are then prompted after awhile to reboot the router while trying to reconnect and wait and wait and wait. It is so annoying. Any ideas what is causing this? something in the laptop or antivirus or firewall? we are all running the some antivirus program (Norton). Advice please.

Sounds like it might be an IP conflict....
Check the network settings on all machines. Are they all set to automatic? Also update fiirmware on router. Might try doing a router reset. |
