The previous $300 deal at Newegg with an additional 3D glasses and game seems to be better
That wasn't only at Newegg -- that was also at Best Buy for weeks and then also at Gamestop. I bought and flipped about 8 of those sets over the course of 3 weeks just picking them up at my local Best Buy one or two at a time. And I wasn't clearing them out of stock.....they had plenty each time.
I bought this couple weeks back from Gamestop for $299 with the extra glasses plus MLB 2012. Sold both games for $60, so I netted the 3D monitor with 2 pairs of glasses for $260 after tax. The monitor is nice, has very saturated colors and decent sharpness on text (must turn SHARPNESS control to minimum otherwise text looks horrible), but the screen is so glossy it's unusable for me. And viewing angle is not that great even looking at it straight on, plus this screen is surprisingly dim for a LED LCD, and draws more power than a my Dell 2412M and 27" Planar, sucking down 6W even when it's OFF.
I turned around and sold it for $250, so I paid $10 for an extra pair of 3D glasses for use with my other 3D TV.
Buy this only if your room and dimly light or use only at night.
