Info:

The Beretta Nano is the ultimate evolution of the micro compact carry pistol. Utilizing a removable, serialized sub-chassis the
Nano pistol can be easily modified with replaceable grip frames and is simple to disassemble and maintain. Ease of use and concealment were key drivers in the development of the Nano.

The Nano's extremely low profile, snag free design makes it easy to carry and draw from concealment. To accommodate right or left-handed use, the Nano's magazine release button can be easily reversed. The light, durable, frame employs modern thermoplastic technology through the use of fiberglass reinforced techno-polymer. The Nano's sights are user adjustable with a 1.3mm hexwrench and your fingers. This allows anyone to adjust their sights without the assistance
of a gunsmith. Modular structure, ergonomics and ease of use make the Beretta Nano the ideal firearm for concealed carry.

MUST ship to FFL dealer. Check your local laws BEFORE ordering.

Anyone have some experience with this gun or advice on the price. I really want to bite on this but would appreciate some input first.

Same here. Wasn't really looking for a compact gun, in fact I've been eyeing the m&p 9mm which never goes on sale. But, for a first gun this price can't be beat

30 for a mag is common for most guns unless they're on sale. And the rest of your comment makes zero sense.

This has dropped in price to compete with the Smith & Wesson Shield.

Google "Beretta Nano issues" and see for yourself if you are willing to trust your life to it. I highly recommend searching the same for any gun you don't know about. I'm a firm believer of not getting firearms when they first come out because it takes time for problems to surface. The Nano was released in 2011, definitely wayyyy too new.

My biggest beef is actually with Beretta customer service. They are absolutely horrendous. I bought a brand new Tomcat several years ago and the frame cracked after barely 200 rounds (a common issue with the Tomcat blued/matte, yet they STILL sell them). They made me send in the sale receipt! It's a good thing I only had it for 2 or 3 months. Essentially, they stick with their warranty period, their reputation be damned. I've dealt with a couple other companies and they never asked for proof or cared that I was the 2nd or even 3rd owner. In any case, after they figured out that they couldn't fix the gun, the told me they'll send me a new one within a couple of weeks. It took over 2 months and many phone calls. I didn't bother keeping the gun and sold it immediately.

The bottom line is I would never buy anything from Beretta again unless I have no other choices. I'd buy the even new S&W Shield because their CS is absolutely outstanding, before I get a Nano.

You wouldn't be the first to have bad things to say about Beretta's CS. I wouldn't mind needing the receipt thing too much, but I do mind their wimpy three-year warranty. That's pretty pathetic when multiple other companies have lifetime warranties.

Do you guys feel the same way about Kel-Tecs? Look up their warranty. Ugh!

Double check, but I don't think it's even 3 years, at least I thought the warranty on the Tomcat was 1 year!

Most gun companies have explicit 1 to a few years warranty; however, they don't enforce the warranty period strictly at all so the lifetime warranty is implied. You may want to look around to see what other people say about Kel-tec warranty, but I believe they are pretty good (though I'm definitely not a fan of their lower quality firearms).
