Target Video Game Event Online Only 5/13-5/26 *EXTENDED*

Screw target.. still waiting for them to ship my witcher 2 xbox I've had on order since March 25th.

Amen. They cancelled one of my previous orders with no explanation nor did they follow up after an email I sent them about that order. They -target people- simply 'vanished'.

they are simply horrbile. I've spoken to six different people and received six different answers as to why it hasn't shipped... I will NEVER purchase anything from target.com again..

i've purchased a lot from target and i've never had a problem..

not sure why all the thumbs down, uncharted 3 for $29.99 is cheaper than anywhere else

donkey kong wii is over $10 cheaper than amazon

I would like to add glass lube to that screw. Target.com must be in the Bermuda Triangle or some $#!@, cuz call's and emails go in, nothing ever manages to make it the hell back out. We are still going round and round over a November order on the move controllers. They said it all shipped, it didn't ship. A week of that, then it was ok the label generated but was never packed or shipped due to a system error. We have to cancel and re-order. Well the price isn't the same now, so we have to do an adjustment/override, to do that we need the original code you used to give it to you at that price. OK well that code is no longer valid, I have to research to see if we offered a code and for how much (if they can tell me the damn thing is expired, and they are staring at my original order isn't that a pretty fair indication that there WAS a valid code?). Got all that sorted out, the game part of the bundle was OOS. They would put it on backorder for me, at full price then call back and get a CS rep to refund on the difference.



I have never had a problem with Target on anything BUT video games and accessories though. I'm starting to think it's some kind of secondary inventory/department type things. Multiple separate entities all connected to the same CS would explain the prolonged and prolific stupid that occurs with a game purchase.

I personally think I am done with Target.com for games and crap. It ceases to be a great price when you factor in a few weeks of phone calls and BS.

I've ordered a bunch and never had problems either. Past bad experiences shouldn't slam the hell out of this post. The prices are still pretty good.

I'm not disputing prices... what I am saying is you might not receive your game if you order online. Even if the item is "in stock" it might not be.

I was told that the item I wanted had 10 in stock. BUT Target will NOT ship any items until they receive 15 in stock.. huh??? No logic in that thought process whatsoever. And I PREORDERED my item a full month before release... plenty of time for target to secure enough stock..

And this isn't the first time something like this has happened to my online orders..

so It's definitely worth mentioning... especially if it's a popular item

I'm with you, Target.com is the WORST. It's ok if you don't have any problems with their orders, but if a problem comes up (bad product, returns, etc.), good luck getting a hold of anyone to deal with you. It's almost as if they ignore all customer inquiries for their online orders. My advice, report them to the Better Business Bureau. Target.com will never earn my business again, no matter how attractive their prices are online.

Didn't the Donkey Kong game just get a price drop to $30 as a Player's Choice item?

I don't know what the problem should be with returns unless you don't live near a Target store. Just take it back to the store.
You've got 3 months to return stuff. I've got a mini fridge from Target that I just needed for a couple month. It will be going back in a couple weeks.
It kind of ices up, but it served it's purpose. Couldn't be more happy with their policies.

But everyone's experience is their own and when you reach your limit of frustration with a store that's your right not to give them any more business.

Like my pet peeve is with newegg, shipping my SSD in a little bubble mailer like it was an issue of Reader's Digest magazine. GRRRR
