Cheap pair of wireless headphones

I'm an occasional gamer. I'm cheap, I need a decent pair of wireless headphones for 40-50 or below. Please help me out. I live in an apartment and I tend to play my stuff loud, so I'm just trying to be respectful. Thanks ahead of time!!

Well, if you have a bottom-of-the-barrel budget, there's a good chance that you'll have to settle for a bottom-of-the-barrel product. First, consider headphones. You want them to be durable, comfortable, and good-sounding. Now, on top of that, you're also asking them to be able to communicate wirelessly. I think that Koss makes a much better product than Sony when it comes to headphones, and they're also unrealistically cheap so try one of their wireless setups (not sure of the difference between the HB70, HB70S, and HB79), Panasonic, Audio Technica Beyerdynamic, one of the more expensive Sonys, or Sennheiser RS160 or RS170.

I would be like four feet from the transmitter. So I don't see how it could have any problems?

If you're going to be 4 feet from the transmitter, why not just buy yourself either a great pair of headphones plus an extension cord, or a studio headphone with a 10 foot long cord? There is nothing in the sub-$100 wireless range that comes close to the sound quality of a quality pair of headphones. Some good sub-$50 headphones are the JVC HARX700 (or 900 if you're willing to increase your budget $10), any other of the JVC $35-$50 headphones, these Panasonic:

Koss, Beyerdynamic, Audio Technica, etc. A few google searches, plus checking out online reviews, will tell you all that you need to know. Plus, you'll never have to spend money on batteries (although if you do get wireless headphones, I recommend some rechargeable nimh AA or AA batteries, plus for your remotes, wireless keyboard and mouse, etc.)

Edit: and if you do go for wireless, I'd seriously consider those Koss headphones over the Sony.

Thinking about going with the panasonic Panasonic-RP-HTX7-R1 25 bucks shipped used. It has a 3.9 foot cord. My computer is next to a couch. Would nice to be wireless across both cushions. Idk, hard decision to make, crappy uncomfortable wireless or bitchen wired...
