I'm not disagreeing with his estimate, just the conclusion that there is some sort of corruption at work which require his estimate of probability to be correct.

I wonder what the nationwide number would be. It's sad to think that one of our most basic and special rights, voting, is being abused with every election. People argue against voting ID, but then how can we stand by and let "dead" people vote or people vote multiple times. Is there perhaps anything way to fix this? I don't know. Maybe we need to do the finger ink dip as in other countries. That'll solve that.

i'll believe it when they announce it. actually, considering the source, i still won't believe it. more than likely a rick scott b.s. smokescreen. even then, this means nothing other than that florida has been lax on their bookkeeping duties. this doesn't mean that 50k fraudulent votes were being cast. it means 50k fl retiree geezers who were registered voters kicked the bucket.

i like how the usual right wing xenophobic bigots tucked tail and haven't been seen since this whole story was shot down in flames. if they were really concerned about election fraud they'd be up in arms now about how the situation turned out. the governeor and secretary of state have committed maybe the largest case of election fraud in history and should be impeached.

This issue baffles me. I've been hearing a lot of things on the radio. Everything from "it's targeting latinos" to "it's targeting african americans". No... it's targeting people who aren't citizens of this country and therefor should not be allowed to vote.

Why the paranoia? The african american one especially angers me. How is it the government's fault if you're less likely to have a photo id? Go get one and stop complaining. If voting is that important to you, do what it takes to be able to vote. No one is stopping you from voting, they're just making you prove you're a citizen. If in no other situation, THIS is the one where we need to be making people prove that they're citizens of the US.
