it's a led, how far should an led transmit? I order from them all the time, and will order this too, it usually takes 1 week to get the item, but it's cheap

I love the $9 cree zoom lights they have all the time. Not sure about these. They look about the same size, but not as bright.

Darn, missed it. I just bought a Fenix LD20 last week, best flashlight I have ever owned. It is hard to believe how truly bright it is, blinds me when using it to look at stuff up close it is so bright. I never knew that you could get so much light output from just two cheapo toys-r-us batteries. And they seem to be lasting a while even with my kid playing with it around the house. It costs a lot tho, $47 from an eBay dealer using best offer but seems to be well worth it.
